Republic Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Major Dhyan Chand State Sports University, Meerut
The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity today at Major Dhyan Chand State Sports University, Salawa, Meerut.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Major General Deep Ahlawat (VSM), Arjuna Awardee, followed by the collective singing of the national anthem.

After the flag hoisting, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor addressed the gathering and extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on the occasion of Republic Day. In his address, he elaborated on the role, vision, and objectives of Major Dhyan Chand State Sports University, Meerut in building a strong and self-reliant nation. He emphasized that the university aims to make outstanding contributions to sports education, discipline, and nation-building.
On this occasion, local public representatives, students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff of the university were present in large numbers. Their enthusiastic participation made the celebration inspiring and successful.
