The meeting, held on March 9, was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Maj. Gen. Deep Ahlawat, VSM (Retd.), Arjuna Awardee, who emphasized the importance of building a strong academic ecosystem for sports education and athlete development.

“Major Dhyan Chand Sports University has been established with the vision of nurturing sporting excellence alongside academic growth. Our objective is to create a system where talented sportspersons can pursue quality education while continuing their sporting careers,” said Maj. Gen. Deep Ahlawat.

Among the key decisions taken during the meeting was the approval of the University’s Examination Policy, aimed at ensuring transparency in evaluation, timely declaration of results, standardized assessment procedures, and a robust academic evaluation system.
