Gen (Dr.) V.K. Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), served as the 26th Chief of the Indian Army and is widely respected for his distinguished military leadership. He also led several major national relief operations, including Operation Ganga, which ensured the safe evacuation of Indian citizens from Ukraine.
During his visit, General VK Singh reviewed the ongoing development work and conducted a comprehensive recce of the sports infrastructure. He shared inspiring thoughts on youth empowerment and nation-building, through sports.
General Singh’s rich words reaffirms our commitment to building world-class sporting facilities and nurturing future champions. During his visit, the Hon’ble Governor will review the progress of the University’s developing campus and sports infrastructure. He will also address faculty members, officials, and students, sharing his vision on sports excellence, youth empowerment, leadership, and nation-building.
The visit marks a significant milestone for the University as it continues to develop as a premier institution dedicated to nurturing sporting talent and promoting excellence in sports education.
